The team at GRS Controls had built their existing website in the early days of their business. On reflection the existing site was rather dark and segmented. Text content contained a great deal of ‘technical jargon’ which needed to be rewritten and repurposed. Presto was tasked with building a new website alongside rewording and reorganising the existing content. Overall the new website had to be a user friendly package for visitors and staff, and appeal to a wider audience.
In depth discussion was held with the GRS Controls’ team to discuss the options available within the allocated budget.
As they wanted to be able to manage the website content themselves, an easy to use Content Management System (CMS) would be needed allowing them to do this without any fuss. The remainder of the budget was put towards implementing a modified premium template to achieve the desired look and feel of the website.
The new website needed to display a clean, fuss free appearance with a new home page, contact form, blog and the capability to display multiple case studies alongside client testimonials. The testimonials deliver an ideal way of giving potential clients confidence in the expertise and credibility of the business.
What We Did
Presto set about building the new website by firstly redefining the structure of the website content. Product categories, benefits, special features and related products were reorganised into a clear hierarchy with ‘call to action’ buttons added in relevant placed throughout the site.
All text was rewritten to maximise engagement with site visitors using clear messaging and tone of voice.
