Case Study - ThinkingBricks
ThinkingBricks Ltd is a specialist residential custom installation company, designing and installing home electronics infrastructure including computer networks, lighting control, Hi-Fi and Home Cinema into medium and high-end homes. They’re a fast moving, fast growing business and approached Presto to redesign their website to better reflect their progress as a company and their desire to work more closely with construction professionals.
Presto built a custom website featuring wide ranging content pages with separate news and blog sections. A unique function is individual graphics to suit different visitors. Working with directors, Matt Dodd and Ian Trudgeon, we looked in depth at each customer group’s requirements before putting together a design featuring three different page layouts for interior decorators, construction professionals and for general site pages (examples of each can be seen in the gallery below). Utilising ThinkingBricks' extensive image gallery, all three themes share common navigation and page layout but offer distinct looks to suit potential website visitor groups.
A full CMS (Content Management System) was a key requirement of the new design to allow ThinkingBricks staff to edit their own content, add news and blog stories or gather website traffic information easily. This was included in the site design and has proved invaluable in keeping the site up to date.
