Imagine This - Smart Home Website

Project story

We have known and been working with 'Imagine This' managing director Guy Singleton for many years. Our work together has included multiple education and awards projects with CEDIA plus building the website for Guy's hugely respected home cinema design app 'The Cinema Designer'. It was an honour to be asked to build a completely new website for Guy's smart home integration company 'Imagine This' that he runs with wife Karin and a team of expert engineers from their base in Kent.

Having built the company's previous website themselves Guy and Karin understood just how many requirements need to be met in order to build a great website. The look and feel, the functionality, the SEO and, of course, making sure the website is built on a platform that offers wide scope for expansion and super-fast page loading times.

We took their brief, branding materials and existing content and built their new website with a graphical design which moved their web presence forward, while retaining much of their existing brand. With such a rich history of work (and super photography!) choosing images for the new website was a delight. Using existing content as a starting point, we redrafted the website text to deliver a more focused message while retaining the friendly, yet professional, feel of the original.

As a platform we chose the super powerful Processwire content management system (CMS). This allowed us to tailor every admin screen to make it as easy as possible to create end edit new content, while giving huge scope for future expansion. Processwire delivers pages extremely fast so, combined with a local UK based hosting server, the new website is markedly quicker too.

The new website launched in July 2026.
